It's after Memorial Day!

It's official. I can finally take the fourth of July decorations that have been sitting in my car for the last two months and put them up!

A weekend of extremes

Last night as I was packing boots and snow gear for the trip to Idaho this weekend I was thinking about how it was a polar opposite from the bag I packed last week. I went from flip flops and shorts to long johns and boots. From 100 degree weather to 50 degree weather. Which is the only part of this weekends trip that I am not looking forward to. As I packed I realized that while the type of clothing changed the most important part of the trip, the memories will not. So I am looking forward to another fun filled weekend!

A New Record

I think I could go without seeing the inside of a restaurant for awhile. Over the last week, I've eaten at a restaurant at least once if not twice a day and I am heartily sick of it. I can't say how excited I am to eat dinner group leftovers for lunch today!

St. George

The St. George Gang (Nate, Me, Heather, Jackie, Sandra, Rob, Brad, Lori, Alex, Sarah, Mike)

The hardest part about a vacation is having to come back! Especially after you have spent a weekend relaxing, laying at the pool, staying up late and sleeping in early. I think I could spend all my time traveling.

Highlights from the St. George trip
1. Dance add-on in the pool and the fabulous dance that ensued.
2. Great people that made me laugh.
3. Making new friends
4. Sun and a tan
5. Not answering my phone
6. flirting
7. Staying up way to late (though I found out that I can't do it like I thought I could)
8. Funny oneliners
9. Games, especially enjoyed "hot seat"
10. Realizing that people are constantly watching and to always be your best self

I feel like i'm in junior high

Yesterday as I was on facebook, I got a message pop up message saying "someone in sandy has a crush on you" click here to find out who it is. For about a microsecond I was flattered and kind of wanted to click on it to find out who it was and then I realized that I am 25 and not in Junior High and that I wasn't going to give into Junior High games. If somebody has a "secret" crush on me, and the only way there were ever going to reveal this was through a website I was definitely not interested. Junior High games are fine and all when you are in Junior High, but you should leave them behind when you leave that stage of your life.
